My name is Herbie and I’m a three year old black and white border collie. I live in South Shropshire with Mike and Sue, two horses – Ted and Gatsby – a cat called Ollie and two hens.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;">I get on well with all of them apart from Ollie – a large silver tabby – who thinks he rules the roost and hisses at me and bosses me around and Ted – an ex-racehorse with no brain and far too much braun. Unfortunately, I was on the receiving end of Ted’s hind foot last year when I was trying to herd him away from the gate and he kicked me and knocked out several of my front teeth. Now my Hollywood smile is a thing of the past.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:verdana;">The hens are another story. One hen has the hots for me and follows me everywhere and when I turn on her she just stops still and cringes. She’s always trying to pinch my food and sit by me.
